ABOX-ALUXL Outdoor enclosure IP66

ABOX-ALUXL is a outdoor enclosure designed for wall mounting. With an additional adapter, it can be installed on a pole or mast.

The enclosure offers a practical and flexible solution for setting up external buffer kits for up to 8 IP cameras and other devices. It allows you to create a distribution point perfectly tailored to the unique needs of any installation.

Inside the enclosure, there are two removable mounting plates with a 10.8 mm hole pattern for ATTE modules. Additionally, two DIN rails are provided to simplify the installation of components such as switches, power supplies, media converters, and mini fiber optic switches.

The enclosure conveniently accommodates components such as an industrial switch, power supply, converter, main switch, and a mini patch panel or fiber optic box. All components can be mounted on DIN rails or on the aluminum mounting plate.

Thanks to the appropriate number and size of cable glands, the enclosure allows for easy routing of power, fiber optic, and network cabling.

Protective conductors are routed inside the enclosure for connection to active devices. The battery shelf is designed to maintain distance from the side walls, allowing for free airflow.

The ABOX series outdoor enclosures provide a convenient solution for protecting devices and cable connections installed in outdoor conditions. The available models come equipped with a mounting plate featuring specially designed holes in a 10.8 mm pattern. This layout is fully compatible with the mounting hole pattern of installation modules. The system design allows selected devices to be mounted vertically or horizontally in any perforated section of the mounting plate.The enclosure comes with the following items:

2x Universal keys for the enclosure
4x Wall mounting rubber rings

The set includes cable glands, which must be installed by the user in the pre-prepared holes.

• 3 holes for M20 cable glands (pre-drilled)
• 12 holes for M16 cable glands (pre-drilled)

NOTE – If the enclosure is used for mounting electrical devices, it must be grounded. Use grounding straps or wires with a minimum cross-section of 6 mm². To prevent the grounding terminal from loosening, place a toothed washer between the grounding terminal and the clamping nut.
