ASDC-05-050-HS PoE step-down adapter with 5V output
Description
Adapter ASDC-05-050-HS is an non-isolated DC/DC step-down converter.
The device is powered by a 48 V PoE line and provides a stable 5 V output.
In the ASDC-05-050-HS version of the adapter, the 5 V output voltage is available only via the DC plug (it is not available via the RJ-45 connector). The device can be powered by passive or 802.3af 10/100 Mbps PoE switches.
A typical application is powering IP cameras or Wi-Fi devices that do not support the PoE standard.
The HS version features a heat-shrink enclosure, providing isolation while keeping the device compact. This allows for easy installation in locations with limited space.
