ASUC-30-480-OF is a high-efficiency, non-isolated DC/DC step-up converter. It operates over a wide input voltage range and provides a fixed 48 VDC output. A typical application for this module is stepping up 12 VDC or 24 VDC (e.g., from a buffer power supply) to 48 VDC to power a PoE switch.
The OF (Open Frame) design allows the device to be installed in any enclosure, although the most convenient method is to use dedicated ABOX series enclosures and mounting plates with a special 10.8 mm hole pattern. The spacing matches the mounting holes of the built-in modules. This system allows vertical or horizontal installation of selected devices in any perforated section of the enclosure or mounting plate.
