IPUPS-8-20-ALUL Buffer kit for up to 8 IP cameras, PoE switch 8P + 2G

IPUPS-8-20-ALUL is a buffer PoE kit designed to power 8 IP cameras (8 x 10/100 Mbps PoE passive ports and 2 x gigabit UPLINK ports) with space for an 18Ah battery.

The kit is a dedicated solution for local powering 8 PoE IP cameras with battery backup in outdoor environments.

The IPUPS buffer kit series is designed to power IP PoE devices with battery backup. Connecting a suitable battery ensures uninterrupted operation during a mains power failure. This solution allows the devices to continue operating during outages, increasing the safety and reliability of the installation.

The IPUPS-8-20-ALUL can accommodate a 12 V / 18 Ah battery.

The kit includes:

• xPoE-10-20A-OF - 10-port PoE switch with 2 gigabit UPLINK ports and 8 PoE ports
• AUPS-100-120-OF - buffer power supply with a maximum output power of 100 W
• ASUC-100-550-OF - DC/DC converter, 55 V, 100 W
• ABOX-ALUL - outdoor enclosure with IP66 protection rating, cable glands: 10xM16, 1xM20

The PoE switch features 8 x 10/100 Mbps PoE ports, each with a maximum output power of 50 W. PoE can be disabled using a DIP switch located on the device (OFF position – non-PoE mode).

AUPS-100-120-OF buffer power supply features a technical output (open-collector):

• ACF – AC power status (low state = no AC power)
• OUF – output voltage status (low state = no output voltage)
• GND – ground

The technical output allows monitoring of the power supply operating status. A high level on the ACF and OUF outputs indicates operation from the 230 VAC mains supply, while a low level on ACF and a high level on OUF indicate battery operation.

The technical output must be connected to controllers supporting open-collector outputs.

The ABOX series outdoor enclosures provide a convenient solution for protecting devices and cable connections installed in outdoor conditions. The available models come equipped with a mounting plate featuring specially designed holes in a 10.8 mm pattern. This layout is fully compatible with the mounting hole pattern of installation modules. The system design allows selected devices to be mounted vertically or horizontally in any perforated section of the mounting plate.
