SWPS-4-11-DIN4 4-Port PoE Switch with integrated power supply for TH35 rail

SWPS-4-11-DIN4 is a PoE switch with a built-in power supply in a DIN4 enclosure that can be mounted on a TH35 rail. The device is most often used in automation or monitoring systems when we need to power up to 3 IP PoE devices.

PoE switch has 4 RJ45 ports, 3 of which are PoE ports operating in the 802.3af/at/bt60 standard, allowing the device to function as a distribution point for powering several devices using a UTP cable.

The total power of the SWPS-4-11-DIN4 switch is 120W, which is distributed between 3 PoE outputs and an additional 55V output via the DC_OUT screw connector.

Device has a redundant power supply option, which can be implemented using a second module with the same voltage, for example SWPS-4-11-DIN4 or APS-120-550-DIN4.

The built-in LR150 (Long Range 150m) function allows for stable operation of all ports up to 150 metres UTP at a speed of 100Mbps with PoE power supply. This allows for the installation of cameras without the use of an additional intermediate extender.

PoE identification standard, transmission and power consumption by receivers is indicated by LEDs:

• LED in LAN1 port (white) – power
• LED in RJ45 port (red) – PoE power in port
• LED in RJ45 port (green) – link and data transmission

Thanks to its DIN4 enclosure, the SWPS-4-11-DIN4 can be mounted on a TH35 rail. The standardised enclosure provides protection against mechanical damage and facilitates integration of the device into automation and monitoring systems.

The device has an IP20 protection rating. To ensure protection against weather conditions and moisture condensation, a suitable enclosure (minimum IP44) must be used.

Installation notes

• If we want to use redundant power supply for the device, it is best to supply it from separate phases of the installation so that if one phase fails, the other can remain in use.
