SDIP-60-240 Gigabit PoE adapter with 24V output, 60W
Description
SDIP-60-240 is a Gigabit PoE adapter with a step-down converter. The device is a dedicated solution for powering 24 V devices with a power budget of up to 60 W. The PoE adapter can be powered by 802.3af/at/bt PoE or 44 ... 56 V passive PoE.
The device does not provide PoE on the RJ45 output.
The device is primarily intended for powering devices such as:
- PLCs
- I/O modules
- industrial computers
- 24 V-powered PoE switches
- non-standard PoE devices, e.g. devices that are not compatible with the 802.3af/at standards
The PoE standard detected, operating status, and available output power are indicated by LEDs:
- LED PWR (red) – power
- LED on the RJ45 input port (yellow) – PoE present on the port
- LED 25W (red) – the device is powered via the LAN+PoE IN port by the 802.3at standard; up to 25 W available at the screw terminal
- LED 50W (red) – the device is powered via the LAN+PoE IN port by the 802.3bt (type 3) standard; up to 50 W available at the screw terminal
- LED 50W and LED 25W (red) – the device is powered via the LAN+PoE IN port by the 802.3bt (type 4) standard; up to 60 W available at the screw terminal

The device has an IP20 protection rating. To protect it against atmospheric conditions and moisture condensation, it must be installed in a suitable enclosure with a minimum IP44 rating.
If the device is to be installed in a confined space, the mounting tabs of the mounting base can be cut and removed to reduce the overall dimensions of the module.
SDIP-60-240 is equipped with a universal mounting base that allows the module to be mounted in several ways:
- using mounting posts with a 10.8 mm spacing, as used in all ABOX enclosures
- using mounting posts for 19" and 10" RACK adapters
- by fastening the module through the additional mounting holes to any flat surface
- using the additional ADD-TH35 adapter to mount the module on a TH35 (DIN) rail
