xFIBER-6-30-OF 4-port PoE switch + 2 SFP ports
Description
xFIBER-6-30-OF is a 4-port PoE switch equipped with two SFP ports. The device allows powering up to three PoE IP cameras and simultaneously provides fiber optic uplink connectivity.
The primary application of the device is the creation of distribution points for powering IP cameras in large-scale fiber optic installations. The two SFP ports provide simultaneous fiber optic input and output, enabling operation in a ring topology.

xFIBER-6-30-OF is a PoE switch featuring one RJ45 PoE IN port (10/100/1000 Mbps) and three RJ45 PoE OUT ports (one 10/100/1000 Mbps port, two 10/100 Mbps ports) operating under the 802.3af/at standard. The device is also equipped with two 100/1000 Mbps SFP ports.
The module can be powered in two ways. The primary power source is an external power supply with a voltage range of 30–58 V connected via the Vin terminal (note: if PoE output is required, the module must be powered with a voltage above 44 V).
xFIBER-6-30-OF can also be powered via PoE through the LAN1 PoE IN port. The maximum input power is 90 W (802.3bt type 4). The AT and BT LEDs indicate the PoE standard negotiated with the power sourcing device.
The device supports operation in a ring topology. By default, xFIBER-6-30-OF is configured in "slave" mode.
For proper RING operation (without network looping), one device must be configured as "master", as it is responsible for managing data forwarding between the SFP ports.

To change the operating mode of the xFIBER-6-30-OF, press and hold the "SET" button for approximately 3 seconds until the adjacent LED starts blinking. Then, switch modes with a single press and confirm the selection by pressing and holding the button again for 3 seconds. In "master" mode, the SET LED should light up blue.
xFIBER-6-30-OF automatically detects network loop on the RJ45 ports. If a loop is detected on any of the ports, the affected connection is immediately disabled. This condition is indicated by the LAN1–LAN4 LEDs, which turn red.
The technical (open-collector) output provides the following signals:
- LOOP – loop detected on RJ45 ports
- RING_F – correct Ring topology connection (indicated only on the device operating in “master” mode)
The RING_F output indicates whether the fiber optic ring is intact. A high state indicates normal fiber communication, while a low state indicates that the ring has been broken.
The technical output can be connected to an alarm control panel or controller supporting open-collector output.
Key features and functions:
- support for powering up to three 802.3af/at PoE devices

xFIBER-6-30-OF is a reliable solution distinguished by flexibility, ease of use, and port failure detection. Its compact design allows for easy installation in a wide range of locations. When deployed in a ring topology, the module ensures continuous operation of connected devices.
The OF (Open Frame) design allows the device to be installed in any suitable enclosure. However, the most convenient installation method is using dedicated ABOX series enclosures or mounting plates equipped with a 10.8 mm hole pattern. This mounting system is compatible with the spacing of mounting holes used in open-frame modules. The system solution allows vertical or horizontal installation of selected devices in any perforated section of the enclosure or mounting plate.
Installation notes
- SFP modules must be purchased separately (ATTE does not offer SFP modules).
- xFIBER-6-30-OF is compatible with single-mode and multi-mode modules that comply with the IEEE 802.3z standard.
