xPoE-5-50-OF 5-Port Gigabit PoE Switch, 2P x 100 W + 3P x 70 W
Description
PoE switch, 5-port gigabit 10/100/1000 Mbps (2 x PoE IN/OUT 100 W + 3 x PoE IN/OUT 70 W), PoE over 4 pairs, electronic fuses, open-frame module, power supply not included.
Key features and functions:
- cascade power option – one xPoE module powers another
- 5 Gigabit ports (10/100/1000 Mbps)
- PoE over 4 pairs = lower voltage drops (energy losses) on the PoE line
- provides power supply for 5 PoE 802.3af/at/bt receivers
- provides power supply for all ATTE xPoE series (switches PoE and extenders)
- electronic fuse for each PoE channel (auto-reset)
- PoE can be disabled on selected ports
- quick and easy setup with no configuration required
- low power consumption (<2 W)
xPoE-5-50-OF is designed for creating distributed IP CCTV systems with a central power supply point. Its unique design allows for the construction of a PoE line (branch) with a high power budget (up to 100W) and high bandwidth (Gigabit Ethernet). Electronic PoE output protection ensures continuous operation of the entire system in the event of a short circuit or overload on a single PoE port, and automatic voltage restoration after the failure has been resolved.
The device is used in systems requiring increased network bandwidth, such as 4K Ultra HD CCTV monitoring.
The OF (Open Frame) design allows the device to be installed in any enclosure, although the most convenient method is to use dedicated ABOX series enclosures and mounting plates with a special 10.8 mm hole pattern. The spacing matches the mounting holes of the built-in modules. This system allows vertical or horizontal installation of selected devices in any perforated section of the enclosure or mounting plate.
Please note that since PoE is supplied over all twisted pair cables, special attention should be paid to whether the receiver is compatible. We recommend powering only other ATTE devices (switches, extenders, adapters) and standardised PoE devices (802.3af/at/bt) in which power can be supplied on any pair and with any polarity. Not suitable for direct power supply to PASSIVE PoE 24 VDC receivers such as WiFi antennas (e.g. Mikrotik, Ubiquiti). To power PASSIVE PoE 24 VDC devices, use the SDIP-12-240 or SDIP-20-AD0. The ability to power receivers in the 802.3bt standard may be limited to specific device models – compatibility must be confirmed by testing.
